Community fund benefits Autism Angels
Let’s revisit some of the beneficiaries of our community fund to find out how it has helped them.
First up, Autism Angels.
They specialise in empowering families with children with additional needs, families in crisis or those struggling with their mental health.
Sessions provided are aimed at preventing suicide, addressing mental health and repairing breakdowns in relationships and families. They also work to improve and increase school attendance, promote positive communication, build resilience, confidence and independence.
The team build a strong, supportive and nurturing community made up of families, carers, volunteers, supporters and our dedicated team. Autism Angels is a lifeline for many of our families; a haven of safety, freedom and laughter; things that they struggle to find elsewhere often due to waiting lists.
“Demand for our services is increasing all the time. We never want cost to be a barrier to families seeking the help and support they need. Funding such as that received from Stonebridge Homes Community Fund is essential so we can continue providing much needed support, reduce the cost of our sessions and the pressure on our families.
