We’ve started work on our latest development, Woodhead Park, in Deepcar.
Woodhead Park, off Carr Road in the popular village of Deepcar, will comprise of 69 three, four and five-bedroom homes, with construction work underway following the securing of planning permission.
Homes will be available for sale in July, with the first residents expected to move in early next year. The marketing suite will open this summer, allowing people to head down to the development and find out more.
Around 140 full-time jobs are currently being supported on site and indirectly during the development’s construction, and it has been estimated that the construction investment over the build phase will be £14.5m. In addition, it will contribute £15.6million GVA from jobs supported by activities at the site over the build programme.
Woodhead Park lies just East of the Peak District, making it the perfect place for cyclists, climbers, walkers and runners alike. Close to local amenities and aimed at a range of buyers including younger people and families, homes will be built in a variety of design styles in keeping with the area and will boast the latest in modern living standards, including bi-fold doors, luxury bathrooms and Bosch kitchen appliances as standard. Houses at Woodhead Park will also provide a more sustainable way of living, as each home will boast energy efficient lighting, dual flush toilets, HIVE and electric vehicle charging points, all as standard. Many plots will also feature solar panels.
